During the parliamentary hearing of the Federal Parliament, the proposed Ambassador Oli expressed his commitment to implement the government's decision on BRI and other plans and to coordinate between the two countries.

UML MP Leelanath Shrestha asked Oli what he thought about the implementation of BRI at the meeting of the parliamentary hearing committee on Sunday. In response, Professor Oli said, 'Whatever the government decides about how we will go to BRI, the ambassador will go that way.' He said that a policy can be taken whether to advance the Trans-Himalayan relationship.

MPs also questioned about turning the loans of Pokhara International Airport and Bhairahawa International Airport, which were built with the loan of the Chinese government, into grants. In response, Oli said that since the work is being done at the level of the government, he will play his role.

Parliamentarians also questioned Nepal's relationship with India along with China. He also said that it is the responsibility of the ambassador to implement the government's policy.

He also said that he would take initiatives to bring Chinese tourists into Nepal. He said that Nepal will be propagated through China's TV and propaganda system. Stating that the number of tourists coming to Nepal from China so far is only 147,000, Oli said that it would be a great achievement for Nepal if it can bring up to 1 million tourists in the coming days. For that, the embassy and the government of Nepal should spread propaganda in the big cities of China and broadcast information and information in the media there.

Oli also said that he would study the agreement between China and India regarding the use of Lipulek in Nepal. It is necessary to understand the conditions under which the agreement was made. What happened to the Lipulek deal? We will study it in depth. What kind of agreement has been made regarding that, as we are a third party, we will have to understand more about sovereignty,' was Oli's answer to the question asked by the MP.

Stating that there is uncertainty as to when China will open and close the border with Nepal, Oli said that there should be coordination between the two countries. He said that he will play a role in the implementation of the agreement on the border.
