3 people arrested for gang rape of girl

The police have arrested three youths from Kothimai Rural Municipality of Rupandehi on the charge of gang rape by taking them to a hotel after telling them to participate in the training. According to the locals, a week and a half ago, three people from the village took the girl to the hotel to participate in the training.
According to the girl's relatives, three people raped her after taking her to a hotel. District Police Office spokesperson Manohar Bhatt said that the three accused were arrested after receiving the victim's complaint on Saturday. 'After receiving the report, we have proceeded with the investigation of the incident,' Bhatt said, 'We have called the district police, and we will start taking action after confirming the incident.' They put the girl on a motorcycle and took her to the hotel to participate in the training. Then Manehar Chaudhary of Kothimai-5 and Shailesh Kumar Pandey of Kothimai-3 who are in Bangai near Bhairahwan also reached the said hotel. Relatives of the girl have alleged that the young man took her to a hotel in Lumbini and took her hostage and raped her. After being taken to the hotel, the girl's relatives said that the youths had mistaken the other participants for coming after the girl said that she would return home without seeing the other participants.
On the morning of August 6th, Mukesh brought the girl near the village and left her. "They are hiding the incident because of the locals," said a local of Kothimai. In that sequence, the accused was beaten up. After that, the person opened up about the participation of two other people. According to the locals, Manohar Kothimai is the education technical assistant of the rural municipality.
