Chairman of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that there is a situation where the Constitution can be amended.

Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Friday, he said that some things need to be amended and the constitution will be amended when necessary. He made it clear that amendments will be made if everyone deems it necessary.

President Deuba mentioned that the current constitution is inclusive and said that it will be amended to improve proportionality even more. He said that since there are those who cannot win from the election, the proportionality will be further studied and revised for their inclusion. He said that even if he did not want to amend the basic things of the constitution, he would amend other things better.

He said that the deficiencies and weaknesses in the constitution will be corrected and democracy and human rights are the first priority. He said that a more progressive democratic society should be established compared to other countries. He said, "There are some things that can be amended in this constitution. If many things are necessary, they can be amended if everyone agrees.'

Chairman Deuba says that by making democracy, democracy and republic permanent, we should be able to win more support and trust of the people. He said that Nepal should be freed from poverty and if everyone works together it will become an inclusive Nepal.
