It has been found that the bomb that exploded in a house in Dandagaon of Phalelung rural municipality-5 Prangvung of Panchthar was from the armed conflict period.
On Thursday, Gyan Bahadur Rai's 10-year-old son Pawan, who was living in the house of Maoist activist Aitaraj Kerung (IB), was injured in the bomb blast, while Dilip Sanwa's 11-year-old son Dipsan and two-and-a-half-year-old daughter died while being taken to the hospital.
In the case of a bomb explosion near the house of a Maoist worker, the police briefed the top level with the suspicion that the bomb that exploded was a part of the explosives during the conflict.
Minister of Home Affairs, Ramesh Akhtar, in an interaction with journalists at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday, said that the bomb that exploded in Panchthar was during the conflict.
'Grenade exploded . A very tragic incident happened. Just had a long conversation with the police today. I asked how it went off,' the Home Minister said, 'According to the information we received, this is an old grenade, a tragic incident occurred during the armed conflict.' He said that the death of children due to conflict-time bomb blasts is tragic. "The pain of the armed conflict is still alive, even now tragic incidents have occurred due to bomb explosions." He informed that another bomb was also found in the bush and it was defused by the Nepali Army.
