Arjun Narsingh KC, the MP of the ruling coalition Congress, has expressed his displeasure that the ruling alliance of the UML and the Congress, formed on the basis of the seven-point agreement, did not present a minimum common program.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Congress MP KC demanded that the ruling coalition should immediately bring a common program of minority opinion and change the disappointment seen in the people into hope.

'I am also worthy of the seven-point consensus coalition of the current coalition government, but it is not a good thing that the common minimum program has not been presented by the seven-point coalition yet . A common minimum program should be presented immediately," said KC, "to remove the general frustration of the Nepalese people, to turn distrust into trust, to turn disappointment into hope, to control corruption activities, with a commitment to good governance and to address the various problems faced by the Nepali people. A minimum program should be presented.'

MP KC said that the government should advance its work by bringing a minimum common program. KC said that by the time of government formation, the government should come up with a common minimum program and the discussion of constitutional amendment should be started.

KC said that after the formation of the government with the Congress under the leadership of UML President KP Sharma Oli on the basis of the seven-point consensus, questions about proportionality and inclusion are going to be raised . He also said that they are trying to spread confusion among the people about Congress and UML that they are going to amend the constitution.

'Constitutional amendment has also been raised . There should be a broad consensus on what to amend. It is trying to spread the confusion that it is trying to end proportional inclusion,' he said . He said that the constitution should be amended so that proportional representation is not affected. He said that the prime minister should take the vote of confidence 5 times in 18 months and remove the factor of instability of the provincial governments.

Member of Parliament KC also demanded the removal of the five-year limitation for prosecuting corruption cases provided in the bill to amend the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 . He said that if the government does not withdraw the said provision, there should be division of votes and we should see who is in favor of corruption.
