It has been revealed that the bus that had an accident in Ainpahara, Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality-2 of Tanahun was carrying tourists from Gorakhpur, India. Atul Kesharwani is the operator of the UP 53 FT 7623 bus of Kesharwani Transport Travels, which was involved in the accident.

According to DSP Manohar Bhatt, Spokesperson of District Police Office Rupandehi, the bus entered Nepal on August 4th from Belhia checkpoint with an 8-day route permit.

While bringing the tourists from Bhairahawa to Pokhara and bringing them to Kathmandu, the bus fell off the road on the bank of the Marsyangdi river . 14 people died in the accident and the rescue operation is still going on.

According to the police, 16 injured have been rescued and sent to the hospital. There were about 40 passengers in the bus. According to which, 10 more passengers are missing.
