Foreign Minister Rana's instructions to make necessary arrangements for the safety of the remaining students in Bangladesh

Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba has instructed the Nepali embassy in Dhaka to actively protect the Nepali students remaining there due to the ongoing agitation in Bangladesh.
Minister Rana informed the Nepali ambassador in Dhaka today about the latest situation over the phone and gave the instructions to take necessary measures to provide security and support to the Nepali people there.
On that occasion, Nepali Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandariji informed that all Nepali citizens including Nepali students are safe in Bangladesh.
Minister Dr. Rana instructed the ambassador to coordinate with them for the safety of those who remain there even though many Nepali students have returned home.
The Nepali Embassy in Dhaka has issued a notice today to all Nepalis who are there to stay safe in their places and take maximum vigilance as indefinite curfew has been issued in Bangladesh.
In the notification, most of the students from Bangladesh have returned home, and there are currently around 400 students and they are safe.
In the notification, those who want to return to Nepal are requested to travel only after coordinating with the embassy and ensuring security arrangements, and the contact address of the embassy is also given for the necessary coordination.
