In the 22-member cabinet formed on Monday under the leadership of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, no one from the Dalit community was included as a minister. There are four parties participating in the government. No one sent MPs from that community as ministers.
Apart from the Prime Minister, UML has 8 ministries. Congress has 10 ministries. Both these parties did not send Dalits. Jaspa did not send Dalits for getting two ministers.
