A dead body of a woman has been removed from gate number 1 of Gandak Barrage in Triveni, East Navalparasi. The police said that the efforts to remove the body stuck in the door number 6 are continuing.
The body was found on Sunday night, but it was taken out on Monday morning. According to Triveni police station in-charge Mahesh Rayamazhi, the dead body was found stuck in the door number 1 and 6 of Gandak barrage at 8:30 pm on Sunday night. .
The doors of the barrage were kept closed at night so that the corpses would not move. The police believe that those bodies could be those of the passengers of the bus that had an accident in Simaltal.
