Six drivers have been arrested after they were found to be driving public vehicles under the influence of drugs. The joint team of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office and Narcotics Control Bureau arrested 6 drivers of public bus/micro and truck from Nagadhunga and handed them over to Police Circle Thankot for further investigation.

For this, the traffic police has been taking help from the police hospital and drug control bureau to find out whether the driver has consumed drugs using a separate kit. During the urine test of the transport drivers arrested on Friday, it was revealed that they had taken drugs. The police said that they are investigating what kind of drugs they consumed.

It was found from the previous tests that the drivers were consuming marijuana and hashish and some even heroin. The technical team of Nepal Police Hospital put their urine in a drug kit and found that they had consumed drugs. According to SP Khadka, 6 people were found to have consumed drugs during the urine test of 25 Sabari vehicle drivers on Friday.
