The monitoring committee of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has monitored the physical condition of the properties being reconstructed in Handigaon on Thursday.
The metropolis has monitored the construction style, craft, building materials, art and intangible aspects of Sattal in Dhan Ganesh Complex and Maiti Azima Dyo: Cho: in Maligaon . Sunita Dangol, coordinator of the monitoring committee and deputy head of the metropolis, Sunita Dangol, said that the consumer committee being active for reconstruction is a strong point. "Estates built in the Newa style are monuments linked to the identity of Kathmandu," Dangol said during the monitoring, "The reconstruction style of the traditional method is exemplary." Kumari Rai, Head of Metropolitan Heritage and Tourism Department informed that its reconstruction started from December 2077 and was completed on November 28, 2078.
"Its reconstruction was completed at a cost of 64 lakh 14 thousand rupees."
Similarly, the reconstruction work of Dhanganesh Sattal has been completed ahead of time in June 2080, said Rupa Dangol, an engineer of the metropolis. She told that the flat reconstruction costs 72 lakh 11 thousand rupees.
