Journalist and writer Ramesh Bhusal's new non-narrative first work 'Chalbato' has been launched. Bhusal's daughter Anura launched the book at a program held on Saturday at the double of Nepal Pragya-Pratishthan in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

Along with the book launch program, scholar Hari Sharma also interacted with writer Bhusal. Sharma interacted with Bhusal based on various aspects of book writing. In the

program, Sharma said that the book is useful for those who are interested in the study of environment, environment, rivers and residents of the Nepal-China-Tibet border region. "I strongly urge you to read this book," Sharma said, "In it, Rameshji has beautifully woven the river by connecting it with people's lives while traveling." He said that the book also emphasizes on this issue in the context of increasing exploitation of river channels and their protection is becoming inevitable. In the

program, writer Bhusal said that nature and environment have been damaged by human actions. Man has not only added himself to the earth, he has also added many other things. He is building his empire by killing others. One of the resources that he has taken away is the river," he said, "while the total length of all the rivers on earth is 12 million km . Now, 60 percent of the total rivers of the earth have been dammed.' But among the few rivers that remain to be dammed, the journey from the head to the tail of Karnali is a 'rough road', he says.

Bhusal said that this book is the story of the characters he met while traveling on the river. Bhusal, through the book 'Chalbato', has taken the reader on a journey from the source of the Karnali River in Tibet to the Ganga in India via Kailash Mansarovar. The book takes the reader along from Kathmandu through Kailash Mansarovar to India's Ganga and tells the stories within it. In this book, the author Ramesh Bhusal has described the river that is seen by the eyes and the river that resides in the mind by keeping the river within oneself .
