'Poetry Concert-2024' has been organized under the auspices of the possible group. Ten poets gave a poetic performance at the program held on Saturday at Rashtriya Nachghar.

Anita Neupane, Shakun Angi and Asmita Wadi were present as guest poets in the poetry recital with the background music of Phokto Band. Poems were recited by Uttam Tumsa Limbu, Yug Sarvanam, Sanjit Falana and Suraj Rana on behalf of Sambamba Group. Poets Swapnil Smriti, Rima KC and Sita Tumkheva recited poems representing the three absent poets of the possible group.

Anita Neupane's 'On my own feet' and 'I am very afraid to see this country,' Shakun tears 'Navayugki Sumnima' and 'Pathshala', Asmita Vadi's 'Is living just breathing ?' And recited two poems under the title of 'Las Bokne Kotaharu'. Similarly, Uttam Tumsa Limbu's 'A Question Had To Be Asked,' 'Thuli Stopped Selling Jand' and 'Muluk Kaile Bhinjast Thule?' And 'Uchai' and Suraj Rana recited poems titled 'Akshararu', 'Breathing Statue' and 'Solta at Police Station'.

Swapnil Smriti recited Mithoch's poem 'Ethan', Rima KC recited Raj Ekant's poem 'Chapamarko Sandesh' and Sita Tumkheva recited Balindra Yonghang's poem 'Mona Lisa'. Anup Timilsina, the founder of Fokto band, provided the music on guitar, Achyut Thapamgar on flute and Anil Gandharva on sarangi. Speaking at the

event, poet Shravan Mukarung said that the traditional poetry reading was challenged by the poetic presentation with music. He said, 'There was an opportunity to understand what the poets of the new generation are writing and what is their understanding of poetry.' Rajan Mukarung, a professor of Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, gave the token of love to the guest poets.

In the program moderated by Bachu Himanshu, Dr. Biplav Dhakal, Yaseli Yonghang, Bimala Tumkheva, Kumari Lama, Pragati Rai, Heman Yatri, Sanjeev Rai, Umesh Akinchan, Ganesh Khanian, Sozho Village, Prakash Ramghali, Chandraveer Tumbapo, Lakshmi Rumba, Karan Rai, Devesh Rai, Manoj Thapamgar, Anil Subba, JD Tamu, Apsara Lavati, Naresh Lavati, Vishal Senehang, Prajwal Adhikari, Asim Sagar and hundreds of others were present.
