OpenAI is becoming a bigger player by increasing investment

Reuters has mentioned that OpenAI will proceed with the investment agreement through Thrive Capital, a venture capital firm operated by Jas Kushner. Thrive is expected to invest $1 billion. According to Bloomberg, semiconductor chip manufacturer Nvidia has discussed investing $100 million in OpenAI.

Microsoft has already invested significantly in OpenAI. Microsoft, which previously invested 13 billion dollars, has also shown interest in further investment, according to the international media organization. It is not clear how much Apple is investing. Apple, which has added the use of AI to all new versions of its devices, is about to incorporate services such as OpenAI's ChatGPT.

Last June, Apple held its annual Worldwide Developers Conference with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in attendance. At the event, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the use of 'Apple Intelligence' in various services and increasing AI partnerships.

Forge Global Holdings, a capital market analysis firm, included OpenAI in its list of 'private seven spectacular' startups released on Wednesday. The 'Magnificent Seven' are Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet (Google), Tesla and a group of technology companies with high valuations in the secondary market .
