International Finance Corporation (IFC) is going to expand investment in Nepal. In a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel today at the Ministry of Finance, South Asia Regional Director of IFC Imad Fakhouri informed that IFC will expand investment in Nepal.

IFC invested 100 million US dollars in Nepal last year.

Regional Director Fakhouri mentioned that green energy, healthy growth and economic participation are the priorities of IFC and he said that he and his team will play an important role in expanding investment in Nepal.

On that occasion, Finance Minister Paudel said that more investment is needed for the improvement of Nepal's economy and requested to expand the investment by paying attention to Nepal's priorities and needs.
