Although there has been improvement in the economy recently, industrialists have said that policy reforms and stability are necessary for rapid and sustainable development. The team of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry drew this attention during a meeting with the newly appointed Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal on Monday.

In the program, the president of the federation, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, said that the high-level economic reform commission to be formed for reforms should work on it and the federation would help in this.

"It is positive that a commission has been formed for a new phase of reforms at the request of the federation," he said. He also asked Chief Secretary Aryal to take it positively as the federation is asking for dignity in the private sector.

'It is necessary to ensure good governance by increasing the use of technology for improvement in the areas where the general public and businessmen receive services He said, "If laws are made to look at the private sector as well, investment will be discouraged, so we had to take the initiative to remove this arrangement." In the

meeting, Chief Secretary Aryal promised that he understood the importance of the private sector and would work to encourage investment. Senior Vice President of the Federation Anjan Shrestha emphasized that policy should not be changed quickly.

Vice President Hemraj Dhakal was of the opinion that the government should also take initiatives to stop unauthorized imports and create laws related to debt collection.
