Demand of Trade Union Congress to repatriate Nepalis in Lebanon

The Nepal Trade Union Congress has drawn the government's serious attention to the fact that it has not taken any initiative to return Nepali citizens from Lebanon to the country.
The federation has appealed to the government of Nepal to take the necessary steps to immediately return thousands of Nepalis working as migrant workers in Lebanon without creating a serious crisis.
In addition, the federation believes that the recent decision by the Nepalese government to send two thousand Nepali workers to Israel is immature and inhumane even in the current state of conflict between Israel and Iran.
Therefore, the Nepal Trade Union Congress has also placed a demand before the Nepal government to safely rescue the Nepalis working in Lebanon and to stop the immediate sending of Nepali workers to Israel.
