Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel has directed the relevant officials to realize the responsibility and start working to meet the targets set by the Ministry of Finance for the current financial year.
According to the press note released by the Secretariat, Finance Minister Poudel instructed to produce results according to their respective responsibilities in order to meet the annual and periodically determined goals in the meeting of the annual progress review and ministerial level development problem solving committee for the financial year 2080/81 held at the Ministry of Finance.
He instructed to work on projects of national importance, glory and projects that give high priority. The Ministry of Finance has prepared the 2081/082 Budget Implementation Action Plan.
The Ministry of Finance had set 175 milestones for the previous financial year out of which 51 were completed. 96 are in progress . The work of 28 could not be started . In the
meeting, National Planning Commission Vice Chairman Prof. Dr. Shivraj Adhikari, Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari, Finance Secretary Dr. Ram Prasad Ghimire, Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, agencies and department heads under the Ministry of Finance reviewed the progress and suggested in the press note. .
