Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has said that there are many places to create jobs within the country. Speaking at a program on the occasion of the 62nd Engineer's Day on Thursday, Minister Khadka said that there are plenty of places to create jobs in the country.

He said that the government is determined to create employment. He said that he is going to sell 10,000 megawatts of electricity to India and said that after a few days there will be an agreement for the purchase and sale of 40 megawatts of electricity with Bangladesh.

Minister Khadka drew the attention of engineers in this regard by saying that engineers work on any project for a short period of time and then go to another project. He suggested the engineers to work through bilateral or tripartite agreements.

He said, 'We have plenty of places to create jobs. We are oriented to act in that direction. The current government is committed to this task. We are selling 10,000 megawatts of electricity to India. On the 28th, we will sign a contract with Bangladesh for the purchase and sale of 40 megawatts of electricity. I think we can sell it for double. But we have only 3,200 megawatts of electricity available. Engineer friends will be in charge of the project. Work for two to four months. Another project will give more facilities and leave it and that project will be stalled. This is the problem. Friends who work in construction should work with bilateral and tripartite agreements. Let's also keep the rights matters.'

Minister Khadka praised the engineers for playing the role of bees in building the country.
