On the first day of trading this week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index saw a high number and the trading amount also increased. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 52.97 points to 2,257.59.
Today, 20 million 22 million 47 thousand 327 shares of 309 companies were bought and sold 96 thousand 274 times, amounting to 7 billion 62 million 498 thousand 520 shares. In today's business, the sub-indices of all groups are green. Banking has increased the most by 3.74% and hydropower group by 3.30%.
Development Bank has increased by 1.20, finance by 1.33, hotel and tourism by 1.07, investment by 1.30 and life insurance group by 2.05 percent. Similarly, production and processing increased by 2.66 percent, microfinance by 0.82 percent, mutual fund by 1.74 percent, non-life insurance by 1.26 percent, trade by 2.21 percent and other groups by 1.99 percent.
Ridi Power Company Ltd. and Mandu Hydropower Ltd. share prices have a positive circuit. The share price of Balefi Hydropower Limited decreased by 5.12 percent.
Based on the transaction amount, Janaki Finance Limited has the largest transaction amounting to 240,275,858,572. Similarly, based on the number of shares traded, the most Global IME Limited promoter shares were bought and sold 20 lakh 75 thousand one hundred two shares.
