  • The sound of the crashed Solar Airship kept coming

The time for the ship to return to Biratnagar was 1:45 pm on Wednesday. To make good use of time, I walked from Kathmandu Baghbazar to the headquarters.

Colleague Angad Dhakal was found on the ground floor of the headquarters building in Central Business Park Thapathali. He requested to drink tea . Went to nearby Palpsa Cafe . Another colleague Deepak Sapkota and former colleague Sitaram Baral were found there. After chatting with them for a while, we took the last sip of tea and left. Deepak himself paid for the tea.

The news room of Kantipur is on the eighth floor of the Central Business Park. While climbing there, I met Durga Khanal, the editor of Ekantipur Online in the elevator. Colleague Suraj Kunwar welcomed from the elevator.

Colleagues were just starting to arrive in the newsroom . Ishwari Gyawali, Kanchan Adhikari, Reena Moktan, Yagya Banjade, Sajna Baral, Janakraj Sapkota, Upendraraj Pandey, Deepak, Angad and others were among us.

Suddenly, Angad said that a cloud of smoke is flying towards the sky from Tribhuvan Airport . After knowing that, we all ran towards the eastern window of the newsroom . It could be assumed that the ship crashed from there. However, all the colleagues started to get information from their sources and understand about which ship and how the accident happened. Angad grabbed the camera and ran to the scene.

It was confirmed at once, the plane that crashed was of Solar Air . Due to an engine problem, the plane took off for Pokhara with airline staff and technicians. However, within minutes of leaving the runway, news came that the plane had crashed.

The airport was 'closed' for about an hour after the plane crash. My flight was also delayed by an hour . Sindhupalchok's colleague Anish Tiwari gave a 'lift' to the entrance of the airport after the 'launch' at the Central for Social Inclusion and Federalism (CESSIF) office in Kumaripati.

There was a heavy presence of security personnel at the entrance of the airport . The faces of the common people looked like a black veil of pain. In other words, the whole airport looked sad.

The international terminal was stopped by the presence of departing passengers and their relatives. After climbing a little, the internal terminal building was reached. The scenario there was also the same . The passengers looked disappointed. Dozens of domestic flights were stopped when the airport was closed for about an hour. Because of this, the pressure of passengers outside and inside the terminal building could be stopped .

The line at the counters of the airlines that distributed the boarding pass seemed long . At the same time, the state of mind of the passengers could be guessed as if they were scared and nervous. After passing the strict check-up, the pressure of the passengers was even thicker. At that time the flight opened . At 2:30 p.m., a Buddha Air plane had left Pokhara. Then the ship was scheduled to leave for Simra, Bharatpur and Bhadrapur respectively. My flight was 'delayed' for another half hour .

I was sitting alone in the waiting room, suddenly the female employee of the airport called in a melodious voice, 'The dignitaries who are going to Biratnagar by Buddha Air plane, please depart to gate number 5.' However, there was a kind of fear in my heart. The recent accident a few hours ago made the mind a little unstable and the heart began to beat a little faster . Before boarding the ship, I thought everyone sitting on the bus would be in the same mood as me. No one's face was smiling and bright . With grim faces we boarded Buddha Air .

The beautiful face of the hostess who always greeted the plane with a sweet smile was not so happy . It seemed as if he was hiding his sadness and welcoming us. After all the passengers boarded the plane, the hostess said in a calm voice, "Due to air traffic, our flight may be delayed by 20 to 25 minutes". We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.'

After hearing so much, I decided to sleep like this . However, I wanted to fall asleep and wake up only after reaching Biratnagar. However, this thing called sleep is also very strange. When a person wants to, he will not fall asleep. I couldn't sleep at all because of the noise of other passengers on the ship . I was just blindfolded, my mind was at an end . Many arguments were dancing in my mind. Oh! Didn't sleep at all .

Just then, the second voice of the hostess rang out, "Dear passengers, we will now leave for Biratnagar Airport". Our journey time will be 40 minutes . Please fasten your seat belt . Please turn off the electrical equipment.'

The ship crawled towards the runway. I haven't opened my eyes. Because I didn't want to see the runway. Our ship took off after about two hours. A few hours ago, after the 'take-off', the image of Sourya's ship, which had crashed, kept coming.

The ship had moved too far. I didn't even open my eyes. But, I was listening to everything. I was feeling . Meanwhile, a woman's mobile phone rings. She receives it and says, 'I am half way there, don't worry.'

After hearing the woman talking, a nurse comes and tells her to turn off the phone . She just hangs up. As for me, hearing that woman talking on the phone made me laugh . Didn't the lady hear or understand what the hostess told her to put her phone off or on flight mode to dry herself? I could not understand .

Sometimes the ship "turbulence" was happening . At the bottom, when I was nervous, I sometimes felt the fear of ``Chush!'' However, there was no option to be handled. For the third time, the voice of the hostess echoed, "Dear passengers, we are landing at Biratnagar Airport in a few moments... ." This gave great relief.

About 10 minutes after the hostess spoke, the ship "landed" in Biratnagar. A sudden glow appeared on the faces of the disappointed passengers inside the ship . While getting off the ship, a woman was saying, "You can't do it without traveling". Even when traveling, you have to travel with your heart tied.'

As we were approaching the 'arrival', the faces of the passengers towards the 'departure' could be felt with a line of disappointment just like us some time ago .
