On the occasion of the golden jubilee of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Nepal, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea has organized a Nepal-Korea Infra Business Night program on Saturday.


Korea is organizing various events related to the 50th year throughout this year. In this regard Saturday Organized Infra Biz Night program.

In that event, Devendra Dahal, Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, said that Korean businessmen have an important role in the economic development of Nepal. Minister Dahal said: Mentioning that Korea is a big trade partner of Nepal, he expressed his hope that it will continue in the future. Likewise, he expressed the belief that the Korean government will play a positive role, pointing out the need for long-term soft loans as well as expanding cooperation from South Korea, a dear country for the Nepalese government.

Participating and presenters of the program, industrialists and businessmen also emphasized on the growth of trade between Nepal and Korea and urged Korean investors to increase investment in Nepal.

In the program, the Korean government honored Ravibhakt Shrestha, the chairman of the Nepali businessman IJ Group. The government of the Republic of Korea appreciated the contribution of the years in the expansion of economic cooperation between Korea and Nepal and presented a letter of appreciation to the chairman Shrestha as an encouragement.
