The Nepal Civil Society Conference has paved the way for Nepal's future amid global challenges.

Nepal's civil society organizations have demanded that the Summit of the Future bring a workable plan with accountability, equitable resource distribution and strong international commitments for peace, inclusion, climate justice, digital transformation and youth empowerment.

The Nepal Civil Society Summit of the Future organized by United Nations Nepal, Non-Governmental Organization Federation of Nepal (NFN) and Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN) has brought together national and international civil society.

It will be a priority for organizations and representatives of women, youth and marginalized groups to discuss how Nepal can best contribute to help realize Nepal's development by shaping the Summit of the Future and preparing documents for it, and making the Sustainable Development Goals a priority for Nepal's development. Importance will be given. Speaking at the

conference, Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba emphasized that civil society organizations should play an important role in contributing to the implementation of the recently passed constitution in order to bring the peace process of Nepal to a meaningful conclusion.

United Nations Resident Coordinator Hana Singer Hamdi and UNESCO Representative for Nepal Michael Croft mentioned that they are proud to be able to co-host important civil society conferences under the leadership of the Summit of the Future in Nepal.
