Tribhuvan University's School of Mathematical Sciences is going to conduct actuarial science and data science studies at the undergraduate level from the next academic session.
Program coordinator Keshbaraj Phulara informed that student enrollment has been opened for the preparation of classes. Students who have passed class-12 can apply for the entrance exam.
The National Examination Board has announced that this year's class-12 results will be announced within the third week of July. After that, the new academic session will start in the universities. Actuarial science and data science will be studied according to the semester system, said Fulra.
The school has said that only 40/40 students will be admitted among these students. Students who pass the entrance exam will be admitted on the basis of merit. The tuition fee is fixed at 530,000. It has been arranged that the
fee can be paid in installments, while the best student will receive the Jehendar scholarship. According to the school, 10 percent of the admitted students will be given free scholarships.
