Before leaving the stage to the song 'Higher Love', Biden gave a farewell speech, and many people in the audience seemed to be filled with tears.

Harris had previously expressed respect for his senior leader by saying that the Democratic Party candidates would not speak until the last day of the convention.

'I announce the start of the campaign with a grand farewell to our sane President Joe Biden as party leader. We are always grateful to you,' he said .

It was undoubtedly a difficult farewell for Biden, but he vowed to be the 'best volunteer' for Harris' campaign and expressed confidence that his legacy would continue to govern America.

Biden presented a list of his proudest achievements during Trump's tenure and after the January 6, 2021 Capitol riots, including healing the "soul of America", the economy and health care.

Despite his low popularity rating and defeat in the debate against Trump, Biden said he would do his best to help.
