On the occasion of Constitution Day, the students who scored the best marks in last year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE) were awarded with cash.

In a program organized by the Ministry of Social Development of Wagmati Province in Hetauda today, 15 students, 13 from Kathmandu Valley and two from Chitwan, were awarded and given certificates.

Wagmati Province Chief Minister Deepak Prasad Devkota, Chief Minister Bahadur Sin Lama and former Chief Minister Dormani Paudel jointly presented prizes and certificates with cash 20, 15 and 10 thousand rupees to the students of Kathmandu Valley and Chitwan for getting the best marks.

Governor Devkota and Chief Minister Lama handed over shields, cups and certificates to the winning players in various sports competitions organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Wagmati Province.

Under the four-day program by the Constitution Day Main Ceremony Committee, today and tomorrow evening, various government and non-government offices and ordinary citizens have been invited to celebrate Diwali in their homes, according to Purna Bahadur Darji, Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Law.
