Makwanpur police have seized clothes worth about 1 crore 35 lakh rupees. The police arrested 2 people with clothes and vehicles from Hetaunda-15 Ratomate.
While stopping and checking the Indian truck number WB 49 N 2178 which was going to Kathmandu from Sunsari via Hetaunda, the driver of the truck was Jandar Alam, aged 30, a resident of Tukalia, District Motihari, State of Bihar, East Champaran Saphi, and the co-driver was a resident of Banjaria East Champaran Chaulaha Colony of the same place. Mia, 19 years old, was arrested by the police.
After stopping the truck and searching it, they searched their body and the truck, and after cutting the customs bill for 345 sacks of potatoes in that truck, 264 sacks of potatoes were placed in the truck at the rate of 50 kg per sack, and 74 sacks of different types of prepared kurta, rolls were hidden inside the truck. Clothes of shorts and pants have been brought. 
According to Sitaram Rizal, Superintendent of Police of Makwanpur District Police Office, a total of 13.5 million worth of items including rags, sacks of potatoes and Indian trucks brought illegally by evading customs were seized.
