The three people who went missing after their jeep fell into the Sunkoshi River have not been found till Monday morning. Now, the armed police diving team, Janpath police and locals have been continuing the search for three consecutive days.

The Isuzu Jeep No. 3-01-023 Ch 6366 going from Halesi in Khatang to Kathmandu fell into the Sunkosi River 50 meters down near Golanjor Rural Municipality-1 Kundu of Sindhuli under Chalanpahari Lokmarg on Saturday.

Three passengers were missing when the jeep fell and one survived by jumping. The diving team is searching for the missing people inside the Sunkosi River, while the Janpath Police and locals are searching on the river bank.

According to Sindhuli Police Chief SP Govindaraj Kafle, 10 people led by Police Inspector Dinesh Deuja from Nepal Disaster Management Base Camp Khurkot have entered the river at possible locations and intensified the search .

SP Kafle said that the search was difficult because the flow of the river was high and it was cloudy. He said, "They have not been found even after reaching Ghurmi on the river bank. We have also informed the locals to inform them if they see them anywhere." Praneet Syagu, Balram Ghatuwa and jeep driver Avin Bade from Bhaktapur Suryavinayak Municipality Jagat are among those who went missing in the Sunkosi River.

Sushant Kashpati from the same place managed to survive by swimming. The jeep was found and pulled by Tuchan to the river bank.
