One arrested with 1.6 lakhs from Siraha with undisclosed source

One person has been arrested from Siraha with an undisclosed amount of money. Siraha police arrested one person on Wednesday morning with 1.6 million rupees whose source was not disclosed.
The arrested person is 48-year-old Lalit Das of Bariyarpatti rural municipality-2 Khoxitol. District Police Office, Siraha informed that he was arrested from Bariyarpatti rural municipality-1 Goragamma.
Siraha police chief Ramesh Pandit said that after receiving information that a slave was coming from India with an undisclosed amount of money, the police recovered the money kept in a white cloth tied around his waist. According to him, 1,000 notes and 1,200 notes of 500 were recovered from the slave.
In addition, the police also seized the motorcycle number S10 P9853 that he was riding. Pandit said that further investigation is underway by keeping him at the local police office, Maheshpurpattar.
