Parsa Police has arrested an Indian citizen with about 3 kg of narcotic hashish.
On the basis of a special information, the police recovered hashish while searching a suspicious person near the dumping side of Birganj Metropolitan City-2 Chhapkaiya on Tuesday. The police was mobilized after receiving reports that hashish was being bought and sold on the doping side.
India Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Bharti said that 42-year-old Gopal Giri, who lives in Agra Kudol Fatehabad, Uttar Pradesh, found 2 kg 960 grams of hashish inside a plastic bag.
District Police Office Parsa has informed that Giri has been detained and further investigation has been started on drug-related offences.
