The police have arrested an Indian citizen on charges of drug brown sugar smuggling. The arrested person is 23-year-old Vikas Kumar Patel, resident of Adapur, Motihari police station, Bihar district, India.

He was arrested by the police on Sunday from Birgunj Metropolitan City-8 Panitanki Toll Jamuna Sekuwa shop. Based on the special information that drug buying and selling business is taking place in that shop, the joint police team deployed from the District Police Office and Subordinate Police Station Buspark found the body of Patel. During the search, 54 grams (48 grams without plastic) of the substance that looks like drug brown sugar with plastic was found from the pant pocket.

DSP Deepak Bharti, spokesperson of Parsa Police, informed that further investigation is being carried out on drug-related offenses after taking him into custody.
