Gas cylinders and stoves have been distributed to the people of Mikwakhola Rural Municipality-3, Libang. Cylinders and stoves were distributed to 385 households in the ward on Wednesday for the purpose of cooking.
According to village chairman Bhakta Bahadur Karki, one gas cylinder and one set of stoves have been distributed for one household. For this, the rural municipality has contributed Rs. 27 lakhs and Mewa Developers Limited has provided investment support of Rs. 10 lakhs.
'It was seen that the time of the people of the ward will be saved and the forest will also be protected,' said Karki, the president of the municipality, 'We hope that the eye problems will be reduced due to the smoke.'
Earlier, gas cylinders and stoves were distributed in Ward 1 and induction stoves in Ward 2. Ward no. There is a plan to distribute induction stoves in 4 Samwa this year.
