One person died when he was hit by a stone that fell from the road while he was plowing a motorcycle in Hilihang Rural Municipality of Panchthar.
DSP Hemant Bhandari of District Police Office Panchthar informed that 26-year-old Udwav Dhakal of Sundarharaincha Municipality-11 Salakpur of Morang died in the accident.
Dhakal Kabeli A was working in hydropower project. He was hit by a stone falling from the road while riding a motorcycle at a place called Hilihang-1 Hangde on Wednesday at 9:30 in the morning.
Dhakal, who was severely injured when he was hit by a stone, was brought to Panchthar Hospital for treatment and the doctor declared him dead. According to DSP Bhandari, Tulsi Bahadur Khadka, a resident of Manohara Municipality-9 in Kathmandu, riding behind the motorcycle was also injured.
The police have started the process of handing Dhakal's body over to his relatives after conducting a post-mortem.
