Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality has distributed relief to the flood victims of Thame. Relief was distributed on Saturday at the rate of Rs. 50,000 per family to those who were completely displaced and Rs. 10,000 per family to those who were partially damaged.

According to Village Chairman Mingmachiri Sherpa, relief has been distributed at the rate of 50,000 rupees to 15 completely displaced families and 10,000 rupees to 30 partially damaged families. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also distributed relief at the rate of 15,000 rupees to 15 households that were completely damaged.

Angdoma Sherpa, Dadiki Sherpa, Mingmarita Sherpa, Mingmanuru Sherpa, Kamitamba Sherpa, Apa Sherpa, Jangvu Sherpa, Mingmanuru Sherpa, Kamirita Sherpa, Tsi Sherpa (Yak), Thupten Dorjee Sherpa, Ngima Sherpa, Lhatpa Gelzen Sherpa, Mingfuti Sherpa And the Angfurba Sherpa were completely displaced and they were given relief at the rate of 50,000 rupees by the village council and 15,000 rupees by the Ministry of Home Affairs, said the chairman Sherpa.

"For those who have been completely displaced by the flood, there is nothing for the relief goods, it has to be arranged," President Sherpa said.

On Saturday, the relief was distributed in the presence of Defense Minister Manveer Rai, National Assembly Member Sonam Galjet Sherpa, former Minister of Kosi Province Buddhikumar Rajbhandari, Nepali Army Assistant Rathi Premdhawaj Adhikari, Chief District Officer Devi Pandey and others.
