The Newar youth of Khandbari have been taught Dhimebaza, Flute, Charya dance and Newari language. In the project of Neva Misa Dabu Khandbari Nagar, 60 young people from around Khandbari were trained about Newari customs and culture including Dhimebaja.

The youth have been trained to promote Dhime Baza, which has been played since ancient times in the Newar settlements. According to Rasila Shakya, president of Newar Misa Dabu Khandbari, because Dhime Baza is necessary before starting any work in Newari culture, the youth of the last generation have been taught Dhime, Flute and Charya dance.

The old generation said that it was organized to transfer the skills of Newari culture to the new generation. He says that he will continue this and prepare more young people. At present, training has been given to the Newar community between the ages of 12 and 25 years.

Dhime is the most popular instrument in the Newar community. This instrument is played by the Newar community in various festivals, fairs, traditions, banquets etc.
