Two members of the same family have died after being buried in a landslide in Silichong Rural Municipality-1 Sisuwakhola of Sankhuwasabha.
Chairman of Silichong Rural Municipality Bhupalraj Mehwahang informed that 55-year-old Motimaya Rai and 25-year-old Samsika Rai died in the landslide.
Village chairman Mewahang said that 55-year-old Motimaya and her daughter-in-law Samsika died after being crushed by a huge rock that fell with the landslide. 29-year-old Ravina Rai was seriously injured after being hit by a stone. Chief District Officer Dhruv Bahadur Khadka said that preparations are being made to take him to Kathmandu by Nepali Army helicopter for treatment.
