Jagannath Rath Yatra has been taken out in Itahari. The second Jagannath Rath Yatra was taken out on Saturday afternoon. ISKCON Itahari made Lord Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra ride in the chariot and performed bhajankirtan and circumambulated the city of Itahari in a chariot with various tableaus.
Earlier, the first Jagannath Rath Yatra was taken out last year. ISKCON Itahari informed that the Rath Yatra has been continued this year as well.
The Rath Yatra started from ISKCON Itahari office Hatia line and passed through the main chowk to the west line and then turned around from there to the Dharan line through the Gorkha department store and reached from the main chowk to the east line and Milan chowk. It was concluded by reaching the Radhakrishna Shiva temple premises via the Hatia line from Milan Chowk.
Devotees from different parts of the country came to Itahari to participate in the Ratha Yatra, according to ISKCON Itahari. ISKCON Itahari has informed that the Rath Yatra was held in Itahari on Saturday after the large Jagannath Rath Yatra to be held in Odisha, India.
