President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the constitution has put an end to all forms of discrimination and oppression created by the centralized and unitary state system and has joined the ethnic, linguistic, religious, cultural and geographical diversity of the Nepali society in the formula of national unity.
President Paudel while congratulating on the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day 2081 expressed his belief that the political party, leadership, government and the entire state power will realize the responsibility of making Constitution Day more democratic, just and result-oriented.
We should all understand that changes in the political system and government structure alone will not fulfill the expectations of the age, for this it is necessary to bring changes in the character, political integrity and values of the state power. Otherwise, behavior does not confirm political change," President Paudel said in the message. He is expected to give inspiration to unite to fulfill the aspirations of peace, good governance, development and prosperity through federal democratic republican governance system.
The constitution envisages an egalitarian society based on social justice and aims to build a socialist-oriented economy. He said that it is necessary to establish equal access of all citizens to the services and facilities guaranteed by the constitution and guarantee social security.
