President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the constitution has put an end to all kinds of discrimination and oppression created by the centralized and unitary state system, and united Nepali society with ethnic, linguistic, religious, cultural and geographical diversity in the formula of national unity.
President Paudel while congratulating on the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day 2081 expressed his belief that political parties, leadership, government and the entire state power will realize the responsibility of making Constitution Day more democratic, just and result oriented.
President Paudel has said in a message, 'We should all understand that changes in the political system and government structure alone will not fulfill the expectations of the age, for this it is necessary to change the character, political integrity and values of the state power. Otherwise, behavior does not confirm political change .' Uj is expected to inspire to unite to fulfill the aspirations of sustainable peace, good governance, development and prosperity through federal democratic republican governance.
Mentioning that the constitution envisions an egalitarian society based on social justice and aims to build a socialist-oriented economy, President Paudel said that it is necessary to establish equal access of all citizens to the services and facilities provided by the state guaranteed by the constitution and guarantee social security . 'Culture and nature have opened the door to unlimited possibilities of employment and income in the country . "Nepal can be a developed nation if all kinds of injustice can be put to an end and the resources available through good governance can be properly managed and distributed," President Paudel's message said.
Stating that the constitution provides equal protection to the multi-racial, multilingual and multicultural aspects of the unique geographical structure of the mountains, hills and plains, President Paudel said that no one should do anything to harm mutual harmony, brotherhood and coexistence. He has called on them to continue their honest and effective efforts to transform the meaning and spirit of the constitution into practice by devoting their minds, words and deeds.
