The current government of the Congress and UML alliance has passed the 'common resolution and policy commitment of the government'. The cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to pass the common resolution and policy commitment of the government.

After the meeting, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung informed that the joint resolution and policy commitment of the government prepared by the working group has been passed according to the commitment of the coalition parties.

'According to the seven-point agreement between Congress and UML, the joint resolution and policy commitment of the government prepared and provided by the working group has been passed in today's meeting,' he said.

A working group consisting of General Minister Gagan Thapa and Spokesperson Prakash Saran Mahat from Congress and Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali and Vishnu Rimal from UML was formed to prepare a common resolution.

The task force prepared the draft of the government's common resolution and policy commitments and handed it over to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday.
