The 74th anniversary of Padmakanya Multiple Campus, which has been making a special contribution in the field of women's education in Nepal, has been organized and completed with a special program.

Inaugurating the 74th anniversary held on October 1, Tribhuvan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kesharjung Baral said that the country cannot improve without policy reforms in education. Mentioning that the government was unable to allocate the necessary budget in the education sector, the university was hit, Vice Chancellor Baral said that it was difficult to advance the new program. He emphasized that if the government cannot invest in education, it should collect fees from students who can afford it and provide free education to those who cannot afford it.

Vice-Chancellor Baral expressed his concern that professors who have served for a long time will retire from service and some colleges will be closed due to lack of new appointments from the Service Commission. He made it clear that the appointment process was delayed due to lack of political support in the Service Commission to move on from this situation. He said that the only option to solve the problem of part-time teachers is that the Service Commission will open advertisements. He also informed that 700 new teachers will be advertised soon.

Vice-Chancellor Baral for launching new programs like BPSG, Fashion Design and Padma Kanya Thanks to the campus . He said that the Padmakanya campus, which was established after the end of the Rana regime after realizing the need for a separate college for women empowerment, has a different identity and significance. In the

program, campus head Prof. Presenting the annual report of the campus, Jayalakshmi Pradhan informed that the campus will be taken to Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) within 2081 March for academic autonomy. She said that arrangements have been made to publish the journal by involving professors and staff in small-scale research. In the

program, Vice Chancellor Baral also honored the professors and staff who have served the campus for a long time . Prizes were also awarded to the winning faculty, staff and students of the sports competition organized on the occasion of the anniversary.

Padmakanya Campus, started with the original slogan of quality education for women empowerment, is an older campus than Tribhuvan University . Padmakanya College was established on October 1, 2008 before the establishment of Tribhuvan University.
