In his greeting message released today on the occasion of the twelfth National Science Day, he stressed on the need to reawaken our own tradition of scientific discovery in the world of science.

'The evidence of how Eastern philosophy incorporated scientific research hundreds of years ago is clear in our scriptures and texts. Our education system was exceptional and science-promoting in ancient times. In the course of time, we could not develop it in our own way,' the message says, 'in an age where the rest of the world has not been exposed to the light of knowledge Even the epoch-making principles of science were included in our education, educational system and fundamental traditions. We were already ahead in the fields of astronomy, geography, medicine and biology. Now we have to reawaken our own scientific research tradition.'

The Prime Minister has stated that the government has accepted science and technology as the backbone to implement the development-construction works at a fast pace and that economic development and social transformation as well as technological development are considered as the basic basis of production.

'The government has adopted a policy of accepting science and technology education as a carrier of progress. Empowerment and strengthening of existing structures in the field of science and technology is also necessary. It is the government's long-term policy to create a high-level commission for such organizations and prepare a blueprint for restructuring and implement them,' the message said.

The government has allocated a budget to promote research and entrepreneurship such as innovation fund, 'startup fund' for scientists, researchers and young people who are trying to do business in the country. .
