Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba has left for Canada on Monday evening. She has left to participate in the meeting of women foreign ministers organized in Toronto, Canada on September 19 and 20.

Foreign Secretary Seva Lamsal and senior officials of the Ministry saw him off at Tribhuvan International Airport. The meeting organized by Canada and Jamaica is scheduled to be attended by women foreign ministers from more than 15 countries. At the conference, Foreign Minister Rana will address the issues of women's presence and challenges in public positions including politics, leadership and governance.

Minister Rana will leave for America after the meeting. She will participate in the Nepalese delegation at the 79th United Nations General Assembly held in New York on September 21. The Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister KP Oli is participating in the General Assembly. During his stay in America, Minister Rana will address various forums and participate in bilateral meetings.

Minister Rana will leave for Doha, Qatar from America. He is scheduled to lead the Nepalese delegation to participate in the third conference of Asia Cooperation Dialogue held in Doha on October 2 and 3. Foreign Minister Rana will address the conference. Minister Rana will return home on October 4.
