Communication and Information Technology Minister Prithvisubba Gurung has said that it is necessary to purify the political character which is the basic policy.

In the context of the 60th Children's Day, Minister Gurung, while inaugurating the children's song competition held at the children's temple in Naxal today, opined that purification is very necessary as the honesty and service spirit in politics has been decreasing lately.

Due to the unstable politics, apathy among the people and hatred among the youth appeared, he said that political purification is necessary for stability. Conscious people, students and intelligent people will be interested in politics, Minister Gurung emphasized that everyone should play their role in bringing politics in the right direction. .

Radio Nepal and Children's Organization organized Children's Song Contest-2081 in collaboration. In the program, Minister Gurung informed that after the passing of the Public Service Broadcasting Act that integrates Radio Nepal and Nepal Television, Radio Nepal will become more organized and stronger as well as expanding its services.

Deputy Executive Director of Radio Nepal Khagendra Khatri said that Radio Nepal and Nepal Child Organization have been organizing children's song competition every year for a long time. He said that parents should play a role in providing inspiration and motivation in children's lives.

Deputy Executive Director Khatri also expressed his belief that such programs being held in collaboration with Radio Nepal and Nepal Children's Organization will further help in revealing the future of children. He said that activities should be done to make their lives meaningful.
