Thursday's weather: Heavy rain in some places of the three provinces

According to the weather bulletin issued by the division, it is now partly to mostly cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning is occurring at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Wagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and few places in the remaining provinces. According to the division, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi, Madhes and Gandaki provinces.

This afternoon it will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places of Koshi, Wagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places in the remaining provinces. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of all the provinces and heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi, Madhes and Gandaki provinces, the division has mentioned. The department has requested to take necessary precautions to avoid the risk or damage of disasters like Gegran flows, floods, landslides and erosion that may occur in those areas and there is a possibility of partial impact on daily life including agriculture, health, tourism, mountain climbing, road and air transport.
