President Ramchandra Paudel honored the team including bronze medalist Palesha Govardhan in the Paris Para Olympics.

President Paudel and First Lady Savita Paudel honored the medal winner Palesha by garlanding her with garlands and dosalla during a program held at Sheetal Niwas. He also congratulated and wished his coach Kaviraj Negi Lama.

After the award, President Paudel congratulated Palesha and said that this is a work to raise the head of the country and the nation expects a gold medal next time. A troop of the Nepali Army welcomed the honor program by playing Mangaldhun. Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary, father and mother of medal winner Palesha and officials of sports association participated in the

program. Palesa won the bronze medal in the women's 57 weight group competition under the 'K-44' category of taekwondo at the Paris Para Olympics.
