A patient has died after jumping from the third floor of the Nepal Cancer Hospital in Ward No. 28 Harisidhi, Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality.
According to Superintendent of Police Nareshraj Subedi, Spokesperson of District Police Complex Lalitpur, Punmaya Tamang, a patient who was undergoing treatment at the hospital, died last night.
According to Superintendent of Police Subedi, 64-year-old Tamang of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-8 was admitted to the hospital on July 24. Tamang, who was undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer, jumped from the third floor of the 'A' block of the hospital on Saturday.
After that, she was seriously injured and was being treated in the hospital's ICU. According to SP Subedi, Tamang died on Sunday morning during treatment.
