The draft of the sixth and seventh annual report of the National Security Council has been approved with amendments.
The 34th meeting of the Council held last Sunday under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Security Council KP Sharma Oli has approved the draft annual report for FY 2079/080 and FY 2080/81 with amendments, according to the Council Secretariat.
The meeting has decided to submit the said report to the President according to the constitution. The current international, regional and national security environment was reviewed in the meeting. In the
meeting, various challenges that may come to national security, the impact of recent developments at the national and international levels on national security, challenges and future strategies to be adopted were discussed. is
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Home Minister, Foreign Minister, Defense Minister, Chief Secretary, Permanent Chief of Army Staff and Defense Secretary participated in the meeting.
