Rashtriya Swatantra Party MP Sovita Gautam has objected that drafts of bills are drafted by middlemen. The 'Securities (First Amendment) Bill, 2081' registered by the government in the Parliament is a draft outside the government's purview.

Speaking at the meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee under the House of Representatives on Wednesday, MP Gautam objected to the drafting of the bill. During the quarterly discussion of the bill to regulate legislation in the committee, she objected that although the law commission was responsible for drafting, a bill registered in the parliament on July 32 was done by 'Pioneer Law Associates'.

"We are currently making arrangements for the legislative system". The Ministry of Law has to take the final responsibility, but the drafting work belongs to the Law Commission . The bill that has been registered on 32nd of July has just come to know that the bill has been registered in the parliament. It is said that it has been drafted somewhere else,' MP Gautam said, 'It is the ministry's responsibility to draft the bill. The Ministry should coordinate with the Law Commission, but the bill registered in the Parliament on July 32 came for discussion in the Parliament. It is clear that it was drafted by 'Pioneer Law Associates'.

MP Gautam said that it is important where the bill that the government brings to the parliament is drafted. She said that the ministry should take responsibility for the bill. The final responsibility of the bill will be taken by the ministry. But the draft Law Commission should do . Middlemen, consultancies who draft outside should be stopped . Experts are needed, the Law Commission will bring them. But the law commission should draft the bill, she said. In the meeting of the

committee, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Kumar Chaurasia said that the discussion on the draft bill to make legislative arrangements is ongoing and many important issues have been raised regarding the amendment. He said, 'We are in discussion on the draft bill made to make legislative arrangements. A lot of important things have been raised in this regard and regarding its amendment. As the discussion is ongoing, I agree that more things will be confirmed through the discussion.
