Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asked the current government to expect and trust the country's development. Answering the questions asked by the youth participants at the 'Kathmandu Youth Conclave 2024' organized by Phoenix College and Universal College on Saturday, Prime Minister Oli claimed that this government has come with the determination to do something and bring change.
Prime Minister Oli said that the pace of development in the country cannot be accelerated unless the youth are aware and said that the youth are the entire power of building the country. Prime Minister Oli believed that if there is a favorable environment, the Nepali youths living abroad will also return to their country.
Mentioning that the government is trying to connect the youth with education and employment opportunities in the country, he informed that the government has started a startup program and will create more than 10,000 job opportunities from the private sector as well.
In response to a question regarding the journey of political struggle, Prime Minister Oli expressed his belief that the work he has done for freedom and democracy after being jailed and suffering will increase the confidence and self-strength of every Nepali.
In order to prevent criminal incidents like rape in the society, every person and society should conduct themselves and in case of any such incident, he expressed his commitment to strictly follow the law and take action against the guilty.
